Success with all of the responsibilities of college life is very important to Delta Zeta. We strive to support our sisters in any way possible. This includes help academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. We understand the challenges that face new or incoming collegiate women. We support the need to have a job, attend study sessions, and to adjust to this new chapter of your life. Our sisterhood thrives off of our incredible support system and provides countless resources to anyone that needs them. We consistently encourage our members to be the best collegiate woman she can possibly be.

Informal Recruitment: Spring is time where chapters are able to continuous open bid potential new members to join organizations in an informal manner. It is an opportunity for girls who were hesitate during formal recruitment and see what greek life is all about. There are various events such as interest parties when potential new members get the chance to see the interior of chapters.

Formal Recruitment: Fall is a time where there is a structured process consisting of a weekend in early September where potential new members get the opportunity to meet Greek women during different rounds. Day 1 is chapter rounds at the union where all potential new members meet all chapters.  Essentially day 2 is philanthropy round when the potential new members will go to their top 4 houses for tours and service information. Lastly, day 3 preference day when the potential new members go to their top 2 houses for preference ceremonies to see what is fit for their personal well-being. This weekend then leads the most rewarding event which is Bid Day where these potential new members run home to their new chapter they have found a piece of home in!
